Journey

We built Journey because the HVAC warranty market was broken.

Homeowners were stuck with parts-only coverage and surprise labor bills. Dealers were losing customers the moment the big warranty networks sent a renewal notice. Journey runs the other way. Coverage is co-branded to the dealer who installed the system. Every plan is underwritten by AIG®. Every claim routes back through the dealer's techs.

Parts and labor coverage. The gap manufacturers leave open.

The problem wasn't hard to see.

Homeowners were buying HVAC systems and assuming the manufacturer warranty covered everything. It didn't. Parts only, for a few years. Labor, which is more than half of most repair bills, was always on them.

Dealers were installing systems and losing the customer relationship the moment the technician's truck pulled away. The big warranty networks were happy to step in and take over. Their name, their dispatch, their renewal.

We started from a different question. What if the warranty infrastructure worked for the dealer instead of around them? What if the homeowner's coverage was co-branded to the company that installed the system, and every service call, every renewal, every upsell stayed in that relationship?

That's what we built.

The Journey team reviewing the dealer warranty program

An HVAC protection platform, built for dealers.

Journey gives dealers the infrastructure to offer homeowners AIG-backed coverage. Every plan is co-branded to the dealer's business. Every claim routes to the dealer's techs. Every active plan generates recurring revenue with no added headcount and no claims processing on the dealer's books.

We're not a home warranty network competing for the homeowner's attention. We're dealer infrastructure. The distinction matters, because every design decision in the product starts from that premise.

Parts and Labor

Full repair coverage, not the half-coverage homeowners assume the manufacturer gave them.

Equipment Replacement Credit

When a repair costs more than the system is worth, the Equipment Replacement Credit rolls toward a new install through the dealer who installed the original system.

Dealer Co-Branded

Every plan carries the dealer's name. Every claim routes back to the dealer's shop. The customer stays with the business that installed the system.

An HVAC technician on a residential service call

Underwritten by AIG.

Journey's protection plans are underwritten by AIG, a leading global insurance organization. That backing isn't a marketing detail. It's what allows Journey to make a credible promise to homeowners that the coverage they're paying for will be honored.

For dealers, it means the plans you offer can stand next to anything else in the market. For homeowners, it means institutional weight behind every claim.

The team behind Journey.

Journey was built by a team that knew the HVAC dealer problem before it built the software. We talk to dealers every week. Every feature in the platform was shaped by what dealers told us was actually hard: the customer handoff, the claim coordination, the renewal friction, the pressure from warranty networks.

Built with dealers, not just for them.

Journey's Phase A program launched with a group of dealers across the country. Every claim path, every co-brand lockup, every homeowner communication was pressure-tested against how dealers actually run their shops. We're not a software company that discovered HVAC. We started with the dealer problem and built backward from there.
