Journey

From install to recurring revenue in four steps.

Your techs handle the install and the service call. Journey handles the homeowner offer, the enrollment, the claim processing, and the coverage. Every active plan compounds into recurring revenue for your business.

Parts and labor coverage. The gap manufacturers leave open.

STEP 01

You install a qualifying system

Your technician completes a standard HVAC install. Nothing changes in your workflow. Journey connects to your existing data through a CRM integration or a lightweight data feed. When a qualifying system goes in, Journey flags it and queues a co-branded coverage offer for that homeowner.

What your team does

Run the install the way you always run it.

What Journey does

Flag the installed system. Prepare the homeowner's personalized offer.

STEP 02

Your homeowner gets a co-branded offer

Within a few days of install, the homeowner receives a coverage offer that carries your brand, your dealer name, and their specific system. The communication comes from your business, not from a third-party name they've never heard of. The offer runs on a three-segment sequence, routed to the homeowner's coverage history. Each sequence is personalized to that homeowner's situation. Your team doesn't write the emails. Journey already built them, branded them to your business, and handles the send.

What your team does

Nothing. The outreach is automated.

What Journey does

Send the personalized coverage offer under your brand.

STEP 03

Your homeowner starts coverage

When the homeowner clicks through and completes enrollment, their plan activates that day, with coverage beginning after a 30-day waiting period. No inspection required. They pick a plan and complete enrollment in about five minutes. The enrollment shows up in your dealer portal, and the recurring plan revenue starts. Homeowners pay a plan fee of typically around twenty-five cents a day. What they avoid: paying $1,500 to $3,000 out of pocket when a compressor, heat exchanger, or control board fails.

What your team does

Nothing at enrollment. Self-serve for the homeowner.

What Journey does

Process enrollment, issue the plan, start coverage, backed by AIG®.

STEP 04

Claims route back to your team

When a covered system fails, the homeowner calls your business. Same phone number they'd call for any service work. Your dispatcher schedules it. Your technician goes out. Your tech diagnoses and repairs. After the service visit, you submit the claim through the Journey portal with the service report. Journey processes the claim and reimburses your business at standard rates. The homeowner's out-of-pocket for the covered repair: zero. If the system ever needs a repair that costs more than it's worth, the homeowner gets an Equipment Replacement Credit they can apply to a new install through your business.

What your team does

Run the service call the way you always run it. Submit the claim report through the Journey portal.

What Journey does

Process the claim, pay your business, apply the Equipment Replacement Credit if the system is beyond repair.

Every covered customer in one place.

Your Journey dealer portal keeps a record of every covered customer — the system, its coverage, claim status, reimbursement status, and payment history, all in one place. Aggregate revenue and renewal reporting roll out as your book of plans grows, so plan revenue becomes something you track and project rather than guess at.

Journey connects to the tools your team already uses.

Journey connects to the systems already running in your shop so install data, homeowner records, and claim submissions flow without double entry. ServiceTitan integration is live. If your shop runs something we haven't integrated yet, ask during your demo — other CRM and FSM integrations land based on dealer demand.

What Journey handles so your team doesn't have to.

The work that usually kills warranty programs at the shop level is the work Journey absorbs.

  • Writing homeowner outreach copy. Already built, already branded, already sending.
  • Claims processing and financial risk. AIG carries the risk. Journey processes the paperwork.
  • Renewal tracking. Journey keeps an eye on upcoming renewals for you.
  • Brand asset setup. Journey co-brands outreach and landing surfaces to your logo and colors.
  • Homeowner enrollment support. Self-serve for the homeowner, with Journey customer service behind it.

What your business owns

  • The install
  • The service call when something breaks
  • The customer relationship

That's the division of labor. Journey runs the infrastructure. Your business keeps the homeowner.
