Every install is a recurring revenue opportunity most dealers walk away from.

You already won the hardest part of the sale. A homeowner trusts your business enough to put new equipment in their house.

Then most dealers hand over a manufacturer warranty card and move on. Parts only. No labor. A few years of coverage, then nothing.

Journey picks up where the manufacturer leaves off. Your customer enrolls in protection co-branded to your shop, with coverage beginning after a 30-day waiting period. When something fails, your techs run the service call and get paid for the work. Every active plan compounds into dealer revenue month after month.

The homeowner never leaves your orbit.

You run the install. Journey runs the warranty infrastructure.

  1. STEP 01

    Your team completes the install

Your tech finishes the job. The homeowner receives a protection offer co-branded to your business through email, a QR card, or both.

  2. STEP 02

    The homeowner starts coverage

No inspection. Coverage begins after a 30-day waiting period. Every communication carries your logo alongside Journey's.

  3. STEP 03

A claim routes back to your team

The homeowner calls your number. Your tech goes out, diagnoses, repairs. You submit the service report. You get paid for the work.

  4. STEP 04

    Revenue compounds

Every active plan generates dealer revenue on a recurring basis. Track it, project it, build it into your growth model.

The one protection move no other warranty program makes.

Every other warranty in this category treats a dying system the same way. They cover the repair, even when the repair doesn't make financial sense.

Journey does something different. When a system needs a repair that costs more than the system is worth, the homeowner's plan converts to an Equipment Replacement Credit. The Equipment Replacement Credit applies toward a new install.

Through your business.

A system at the end of its life stops being a repair that walks the customer through your door and back out. It becomes a new install with the customer who already trusts you.

We work through dealers, not around them.

When a homeowner calls a big warranty network about a failed HVAC, the network dispatches whoever is in their contractor pool. Sometimes that happens to be your shop. Usually it isn't. More to the point, that homeowner now belongs to the network. Journey routes every touchpoint back through you. The homeowner enrolled through your business. Your techs service the claim. Your name is on the renewal. We run the infrastructure so the relationship keeps paying you.

Most dealers are live in about three weeks.

The program has no setup fee and no minimum volume. Onboarding is five steps.

  1. Step 1: Intro call (20–30 minutes)

We walk through your install volume, current warranty stack, and brand assets.

  2. Step 2: Brand setup

Journey's team co-brands the homeowner materials to your logo, colors, and contact info. No design work on your end.

  3. Step 3: Data feed

Your install records connect to Journey. Homeowner offers go out automatically.

  4. Step 4: First homeowner campaign

We run the deliverability, personalization, and suppression for your first co-branded sequence.

  5. Step 5: Portal access

Every covered customer, their coverage, and payment status show up in your dealer portal, with revenue and renewal reporting rolling out as your book grows.

What it takes to run a Journey program.

What you bring

  • An active HVAC dealer business
  • Install records (homeowner name, address, system, date installed)
  • A logo and brand colors
  • One person on your team who owns the homeowner relationship

What Journey covers

  • New staff on your side
  • In-house claims processing
  • A new CRM (Journey integrates with most)
  • Any upfront spend

Common questions from dealer principals.

  • No. When a homeowner files a claim, they call your shop the same way they would for any service call. Your tech diagnoses and repairs. You submit the service report through Journey’s portal. Journey processes reimbursement. You never carry the financial risk.

  • No. OEM warranties cover parts for a defined window, usually five to ten years. Journey picks up where the OEM leaves off and covers labor from day one. Most dealers run both concurrently.

  • Coverage stays with the system at the address, not the homeowner. The new homeowner can transfer or re-enroll, which opens a fresh touchpoint for your shop at a new address.

  • Yes. Journey can run campaigns against your existing install base. Systems you put in years ago that never got coverage offered. Older systems often convert at the highest rate because they’re further along in their lifecycle.

  • No hard floor. We work with shops doing 50 installs a year and shops doing 500-plus. Volume shapes plan economics but doesn’t gate entry.

Most dealers who sit down with us say the same thing: “I didn't know something like this existed.” Book a short call and we'll walk your volume through the math and the homeowner experience.
