For Dealers / OEMs
For HVAC manufacturer channel programs.
Strengthen your dealer network with labor coverage your dealers control.
Journey is an HVAC protection platform that runs through your dealers, not around them. Manufacturer warranties cover parts. Journey adds labor coverage and an Equipment Replacement Credit, co-branded to the installing dealer. Your warranty stays the parts authority. Your dealers gain a recurring revenue layer that keeps the homeowner with the network you built.

How Journey complements your manufacturer warranty.
Manufacturer warranties answer one question well. Did the part fail inside the coverage window. When the answer is yes, the part is covered. The homeowner still pays the labor on the repair, and the system still ages out of coverage. That is where Journey starts.
A homeowner with a Journey plan keeps the manufacturer warranty intact. The plan adds labor coverage from day one and converts to an Equipment Replacement Credit when a system reaches the end of its life. The plan is co-branded to the installing dealer, and the claim routes back to that dealer's techs. The manufacturer keeps the parts authority. The dealer keeps the homeowner. Journey runs the labor and end-of-life infrastructure underneath both.
| Coverage layer | Manufacturer warranty | Journey plan | Combined for homeowner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parts | Covered (per OEM terms) | Not duplicated | Parts authority unchanged |
| Labor | Not covered (typical) | Covered from day one | Labor protection added |
| End-of-life equipment | Not addressed | Equipment Replacement Credit | Replacement pathway through the dealer |
| Service touchpoint | Routes through dealer for parts claim | Routes through installing dealer | Single dealer relationship |
| Brand presence | OEM brand in fulfillment | Dealer co-brand on every comm | OEM and dealer brands intact |
Your brand stays the manufacturer brand.
A manufacturer's brand equity is the asset every channel decision protects. Journey is built to leave that asset intact.
The plan is co-branded to the installing dealer, not to the manufacturer. The lockup carries the dealer's name and the Journey name. The OEM brand stays where it has always lived: in the equipment, in the installation, in the fulfillment of the parts warranty the manufacturer underwrites.
For OEM legal and channel-program teams: every Journey plan template is reviewable, every dealer co-brand lockup follows a documented system, and any reference to a specific OEM in customer communications is opt-in and clearable through the OEM's own brand approval process.

Common questions from OEM channel program leads.
No. Journey covers labor, not parts. The manufacturer warranty remains the parts authority on every system a homeowner enrolls. Journey plans reference the manufacturer warranty as the parts coverage in customer communications and route parts claims through the standard manufacturer process. The two coverage layers run in parallel, and the homeowner receives a clearer picture of what is covered by which entity.
Most dealers run multiple coverage products at once. A dealer who already offers a third-party home warranty network or a competing labor product can layer Journey alongside, swap entirely, or evaluate during a defined pilot. Journey does not require exclusivity from the dealer or from the OEM.
The dealer who installed the system. Every homeowner-facing communication carries the dealer’s logo, the dealer’s name, and the dealer’s contact information. Claims route to the dealer’s techs. Renewals reference the dealer. Journey runs the infrastructure beneath the relationship and does not insert a Journey-branded touchpoint between the dealer and the homeowner.
It does not. Parts claims continue to flow through the standard manufacturer warranty process. Registration requirements, coverage windows, authorized-dealer rules, and any other manufacturer warranty mechanics are unaffected by a Journey plan. When a homeowner’s repair involves a covered part, the dealer’s tech files the parts claim through the manufacturer’s portal. When the same repair involves labor, the labor portion is filed through Journey.

The conversation starts with your dealer network, your warranty stack, and the coverage gaps a Journey program could close. The first call is a working session, not a pitch.
